There are many ways!
Here are some suggestions, large and small:
Join the Friends of Brooks Memorial Library, organized in 1991 to support the Library in providing the highest quality library service to the community by means of advocacy, public relations, and fundraising. Read the most recent newsletter.
Donate or purchase books at the Friends' booksales. Download a copy of the Acceptable Donation Guidelines for the booksales.
Try the Library Value Calculator, and share your amazing findings with your friends! Tell them about the specific ways the library helps you and what you value about our service.
Make a donation to the Trustees' special funds, which help the Library purchase resources for its shelves and its online collections. This is also a nice way to honor someone.
If you an have out-of-town friend who would enjoy the Library (in person or online), buy him or her a BML gift certificate for a year of library service. Certificates are available at the main circulation desk. They make great presents for birthdays and holidays.

Put money in the cash box next time you use the public access computers.
Contribute for postage when you receive an interlibrary loan.
Support the Friends' fundraising events, including the book sales that happen throughout the year. You may bring donations of high-quality used books to the main circulation desk. Browse the ongoing sale on the first floor, and mark your calendar for the big sales, which usually happen in December and June. Want the details? Sign up for library event notices and updates on our front page.
Fill out a volunteer application describing your skills and interests. Volunteer positions open up periodically, and the library might be able to use your time and expertise to enhance our services. Applications are available at the library circulation desks.
